Mandela Day Celebrations

Garden Road Montessori owner, Delicia Moraleda and her family brought sunshine, happiness and educational materials to the children of Ncinci One’s Montessori today.  It really was true Mandela Day Celebrations, which will be remembered by all in time to come.   It took Delicia way more than 67 minutes or even 67 hours to: 

1. Fundraise R35000
2. Purchase Montessori materials and furniture
3. Drive from Johannesburg to Ncinci One’s Montessori at Hole in the Wall to deliver the items

That is a massive act of kindness!!!  Everyone connected to Ncinci One’s Montessori would like to say a gigantic thank you to you and your family Delicia, for this amazing deed.

 A huge thank you to everyone who donated to and supported Garden Road Montessori’s fundraising this year. Your kindness is furnishing our lovely new hexagon with beautiful wooden tables, chairs and shelves and loads of Montessori materials.  We cannot thank you enough for this wonderful gift, which is taking our learning environment to another level!  Enkosi Kakuhlu to all!

A very special thank you to the awesome parents of Garden Road Montessori for their donations  and time.  They prepared lovely bags filled with good clothes and toys for each of our children.  Happiness…..

It was good to see when the children’s mamas arrived at school to thank Delicia – good grace and courtesy mama’s!

Our new 8m hexagon is coming along well – roof next! Nice work Mpendula, Bedudu and Zinqi.

We will be sure to post pics of our new environment, once it is complete and furnished with all the lovely new things bought for us by Garden Road Montessori.
